Ellis Haven Campground Hiring for Gate Attendant at Plymouth, MA Full Time

We are looking for an honest, reliable, and upbeat personality to join our Ellis Haven Campground team. Our camping season runs from May 1st – October 10th.

Gate Attendants are the first and last impression that a guest receives at our park. This position may require team members to be standing for the entire shift at our main gate located at the entrance / exit of the park. You are the eyes and ears at the front gate. A person in this position greets guests in a friendly and expeditious manner and makes sure all guests are registered and have the appropriate tags displayed in their vehicle.

Gate Attendants responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Greet campground guests upon entry, provide accurate information about the campground to guests, check in process for incoming campers, regulate traffic and monitor visitor’s lane to ensure safe passage for campers, staff and visitors, assist campers with directions by providing maps and appropriate materials, ensure the expedient passage of emergency vehicles by assisting with the traffic flow and report broken or malfunctioning gates immediately to Ellis Haven President.

A background check is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
