He kōrero mō te tūranga – The role

We work hard and deliver great outcomes to the people we serve, but currently find ourselves in need of additional support for our busy team.

This may be a role which suits your career path and our need to fill a position in our West Coast Team. Our office is based close to the town centre in Greymouth and your role will see you work collaboratively with your team and external stakeholders to ensure the wellbeing and recovery of clients by; Providing support with goal setting, development of their activity of daily living skills, creativity, vocational, educational and employment opportunities, relationship skills and communication strategies.

We are looking for energetic people who can support tangata whaiora with their recovery journey.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.

Ideally you will have the following:

• A Level 4 Health and Wellbeing Qualification (or equivalent/above)
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Must have a full New Zealand driver’s licence
• Be culturally respectful and non judgemental
• See potential in people and thrive in a challenging and ever changing environment
• Have strong professional boundaries
• Have the ability to easily build professional relationships with our tangata whaiora
• Be able to use IT systems confidently – we use various databases such as Recordbase to record client information, Myhealth our internal health and safety programme, and Akoranga our learning management system along with other IT applications such as outlook, word and excel
