Government Contract Opportunity | Attractive Day Rate | 5-month initial contract with likelihood to extend | 3 days WFH flexibility per week

Description

You will be involved in software development of a new government system from the ground up. The system is a mine gas monitoring and analysis system, working on a new project, no legacy code. This role reports to the Development Manager. You will be joining a small dynamic team to build the next generation mine gas monitoring system. In the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design visually aesthetic user interfaces based on predefined standards & wireframes
• Write clean, scalable code using TypeScript within Angular
• Participate in sprint grooming, planning and retrospective sessions, code reviews
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI/UX elements with APIs
• Build clean, logical, reusable code and libraries for future use
• Gather feedback from internal and external project stakeholders
• Ensure that project artefacts are tested and documented to prescribed quality

Essential Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of UX/UI, design skills and experience with Web Applications
• Extensive experience with Angular, Typescript, JavaScript
• Experience using a CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Material, flex layouts)
• An eye for detail and a desire to deliver a great user experience
• Responsive web design experience, media queries, mobile applications design
• REST API integration, Web Service integration
