Logistics Coordinator | Dublin North | Permanent

We are recruiting for two Logistics Coordinators for our client based in Dublin North. Our client are a well-known global Transport, Logistics and Supply Chain provider who specialise in the transport of global freight. They are experiencing huge growth within the market and they are immediately seeking to recruit Logistics Coordinators to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

*Role based in Ballycoolin but working from home until early Spring next year*

The Role:

• Customer service liaison between our internal and external customers.
• Provide excellent customer service & daily operational support.
• Manage outbound shipments which entails requesting invoices from external customers and working closely with internal teams to arrange transport.
• Manage assigned shipments from origin to destination, liaising with various departments both locally and globally.
• Arranging and updating customs clearances.
• Provide excellent customer service/account management support, ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded.
• Liaising with various global teams across the business.
• Invoicing suppliers and ensuring payments are received.
• Ensuring accurate reporting and database information.
• Achieving and maintaining agreed customer service levels and standards.
• Have a fine eye for detail and a willingness to learn.

The Requirements:

• 1-2 years experience in the freight forwarding industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Team player with can do attitude.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are important.

In Return:

• Monday to Friday – (8am-4.30pm/9am-5.30pm, 37.5 hours)
• Salary of €32-35k DOE.
