As part of our continued growth, we invite applications from Software Engineers who have recently graduated or are expected to graduate soon.

We invest in our people and look to grow capability from within by providing opportunities to work with our Defence clients across multi-projects and disciplines.

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Interact and work closely with our clients to understand their requirements
  • Collaborate with a passionate team of data scientists and software engineers, shaping software to meet client needs
  • Drive best practice software development in various modern languages

This role is full-time and is located primarily at Edinburgh, SA, with many projects supporting one day a week working from home. On occasion, a project may be based in our Adelaide, CBD office.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • An understanding of the entire software development lifecycle
  • Exposure to web-based technologies (e.g. Angular or React)
  • A familiarity with an object-oriented programming language (e.g. C++, Java or C#)
  • Basic experience with a version control tool (e.g. Subversion or Git).
  • High levels of initiative and a desire to challenge yourself and continuously improve

While not essential, the following will be highly regarded:

  • Some experience in a similar role (including internships)
  • Exposure to multiple software languages and environments and containerisation (eg Docker)

Special conditions

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain clearance to Negative Vetting 1(NV1) level.
