The position

As a Senior Front-End Engineer At Tic:Toc, you’ll be responsible for turning cutting edge designs into workable developed solutions across a range of platforms and features.

We love collaborating with different teams and squads at Tic:Toc and in this role you will work closely within an agile squad using your front-end expertise to deliver software using the latest technologies, tools and frameworks.

Here’s a few other things you’ll do:

• Build clean reusable code and libraries for future
• Work with the squad to deliver across multiple websites and applications
• Contribute to product website support when required
• Work with and implementation for our product solutions for both internal and external partners and stakeholders
• Use best practice, modern frameworks and libraries and optimise our websites for maximum speed and scalability
• Help define coding standards within front-end development at Tic:Toc
• Conduct quality reviews on a regular basis
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders across the business including designers to create new functionality and ensure a great user experience for both our internal and external customers
• Work in an AGILE environment using best practices and procedures

The successful candidate

Here’s some of things we’d like you to bring:

• Strong demonstrated experience in React is essential. If you have worked on multiple different projects using React, that would be great!
• Demonstrated experience in other front-end frameworks/ languages would be desirable
• Demonstrated experience consuming REST-APIs in front-end applications
• Demonstrated experience with building/ publishing websites (not just software development)
• Experience in CMS with modular page builders (CraftCMS know-how would be an advantage)
• Git version control or similar would be desirable
• Experience with technologies such as NextJS, Typescript, PHP or SASS (stylesheets) would be desirable
