What You Will Do
- Provide administrative support to the Director, Engineering Services, including manage calendars and priorities, organize meetings, including logistics, preparation of agendas, presentation materials, tracking, and follow up on action items.
- Administer all correspondences, travel arrangements, meeting facilities, employee expenses and corporate card administration.
- Assists with analysis and reporting of the departmental budget and other operational factors.
- Act as liaison between internal and external parties (e.g. parent and affiliate companies, external customers, governmental organizations, etc.), as required.
- Provide assistance to the Management Team to ensure timely deadlines are met specific to objectives, performance, compliance and reporting.
- Support and respond to Management’s requirements on both recurring and ad-hoc issues.
- Compile sensitive information for the purpose of crafting confidential reporting and tracking for the business unit.
- Communication is both verbal and written and involves consolidating and communicating important information with tact and diplomacy.
Who You Are
You will have the following:
- Minimum of 3 years of directly related professional and/or business service support experience is required. Post-Secondary education in Administration or Business (or equivalent) is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at one time and bring them to successful conclusion within deadlines.
- High level of analytical, organization, prioritization, planning, problem solving, decision-making and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and able to communicate optimally at various levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information and internal/external client services.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential.
