vintrace is seeking an experienced and energetic Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build and maintain our software products through all phases of the development lifecycle. The role of a Full Stack Software Engineer requires creative problem-solving skills and deep knowledge of the underlying technologies and agile software development processes used to create modern software applications. Additionally, the ability to organize and communicate complex, technical ideas and processes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential to success at this position. Mentoring and teaching other engineers and participating in meetings that include team members from other parts of the vintrace organization and/or customers are skills we hold with high regard.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Product and Design Team to understand and solve customer problems
• Proudly showcase products and prototypes to internal staff and customers
• Work with other team members to propose solutions to user stories
• Develop web applications with Java EE 8, JBoss & JSF
• Assist with Maintenance, Bug Fixing and Continual Improvement
• Maintain technical documentation
• Take part and sometimes lead agile ceremonies (standup, retrospective, epic kickoffs etc)
• Contribute and adhere to coding standards

Preferred Qualifications

• A passion for software and solving problems
• Experience producing solutions with great UX design
• 3+ years experience with Java or equivalent statically typed language
• Experience with AWS Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3
• Experience with quality and automated testing
• Experience building REST APIs
• Experience working in agile teams
• A love of wine or other craft beverages

It would be an advantage to have experience with:

• Backend development with Kotlin
• Frontend development with React + TypeScript

Education and Experience

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years relevant commercial experience in a similar role
