Responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties to support the Canadian HR Team. This position reports into the Sr. Manager, Human Resources.

Key Job Responsibilities

Administration

• Answers questions regarding company’s pay policies and procedures

• Assist in maintaining the HRIS system and all employee records and files
• Complete assigned reporting functions involving a variety of human resource statistics and other information assigned
• Administer all HRIS system password resets
• Prepare Records of Employment as required
• Administration of all WCB and provincial health tax reconciliations and payments

• Escalates payroll issues that meet predefined criteria and using judgment to assess risk and sensitivity level

• Process monthly benefits and RSP remittances and reconciliations
• All a hoc reporting for HR Leaders

Customer Service

• Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with all team members
• Display a sense of urgency and strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers
• Act as a liaison for communication between team members and the department
• Point of contact for new employees regarding all payroll issues as needed

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/College Diploma preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years clerical experience
• 2+ years of customer service
• Computer proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to type 50+ wpm with 90% accuracy is preferred.
