Energy Management Corporation (EMC), located in Salt Lake City, currently has an opening for an Estimator / Data Entry Assistant. We are a 40-year-old and growing industrial automation company that sells and services electrical motors, drives, and generators.

Job Description:

• Assists with the estimating of projects within the company’s scope (Variable Frequency Drives, Electric Motors, and Generators) through designated channels
• Works with estimators to ensure the accurate entry of all date for projects
• Read project specifications, assist with quotations, and work in a professional office setting
• Track and measure success of projects quotes and proactively seek out market data
• Purposefully follow-up on projects and opportunities
• Schedule meetings with local Engineering firms
• Work with Account Managers and assist as needed
• Contribute to the success of the team however necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

• Experience working in the electrical world preferred
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a fast pace environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill set
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Desire to continually learn and grow
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Pay: $18.00 – $22.29 per hour
