I am currently recruiting energetic, dedicated and experienced Dance Graduates for SEN schools in South West London.

The successful Dance Graduate will have experience of supporting students with special educational needs such as Mild to Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Complex Needs, Severe to Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/ PMLD), and ASD/ Autism. We welcome candidates with care worker backgrounds and Health and Social Care as well as recent graduates who are looking to build their experience supporting SEN pupils in school settings. We also welcome candidates who never worked in school settings but have transferable skills supporting children and young adults with special educational needs.

• Learning Support Assistant

• Working in SEN schools in South West London

• Supporting pupils with ASD/ Autism, Mild to Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) Complex Needs, Severe to Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMD)

• Available for full-time (Monday to Friday); term time only

• Providing creative and fun learning environment

• Working hours are 8:30am until 16:00pm

• £65 – £80 per day; weekly payment

• Have a positive mindset, flexible approach, and a can-do attitude

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be supporting students with ASD/ Autism, Mild to Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Complex Needs, and Severe to Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/ PMLD). Many of the students will communicate non-verbally, so being able to use Makaton or PECs will be ideal. You must be comfortable with personal care (feeding and toileting). As an Dance Graduate, you will work closely with other staff members and the multidisciplinary therapy team. Recent experience and a genuine passion for working with SEN pupils are essential. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced DBS and be fully compliant to work in the UK.
