Enki Looking for Software Developer – Full Stack [web] at San Francisco, CA Full Time

Enki is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to become a part of our growing team! If you’ve had to experience building significant parts of a real product that shipped to (at least) thousands of users, and want to take your career to the next level in terms of responsibility and upside, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!

This role will involve a high degree of ownership across Enki products including enterprise educational tools, web dashboards, chatbots, mobile apps, and our home site.

As An Enkizen, You Will

• Develop tools to scale Enki’s ability to provide high-quality support to our learners and partners
• Oversee the code base of Enki’s products. This involves regular and skillful reviews of changes in the code base, which is contributed to by all the developers in the company.
• Participate in and contribute to all regular meetings (including developer syncs, team meetings, and product meetings)

Ideally, You’re

• A Javascript guru (or close to becoming one)
• A strong desire to prove yourself as a major builder
• Self-driven and hungry to build, yet thrives in a fully remote team
• Flexible, able to iterate, and adapt to fast-changing contexts
• Proficient in other core technologies of the web (e.g. TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js, Docker, Postgres, Mongo, AWS)
• Data-driven and strongly motivated by success and learnings through experiments and metrics analysis

Ideally, You Have

• 3+ years of work experience using Javascript, TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js, Docker, Postgres, Mongo, AWS
• Deep understanding of product design, user experience
• Experience working within a cross-functional team with strong communication skills
• Bachelor’s in computer science or relevant experience
• Built large-scale web applications
• Expertise in either mobile, web, or backend
