Enlighten Talent has partnered with Maycroft Construction to find a great Health and Safety Manager. (We would also be interested in hearing from you if you are looking more at a Senior Advisor level).

About the Role:

As the driving force behind our Health and Safety function, you’ll utilise your expertise to shape a culture of safety excellence. Your role extends beyond enforcing compliance – you’ll actively coach and mentor our leadership group, employees, and the H&S team, ensuring that health and safety practices are not just followed but deeply embedded in our organisation.

You will:

• Provide strategic leadership of the H&S function.
• Define our standards.
• Develop policies and procedures, review and improve them.
• Create and deliver on action plans.
• Reduce incident rates & lift H&S practices.
• Coach and mentor, the leadership team, front line and wider employees

On our wish list is someone with a blend of field/site experience and strategic acumen. You’ll be equally comfortable on-site as you are discussing high-level strategy with the exec team. If you’ve got a track record of identifying and managing critical risks, developing policies, and enhancing safety systems, this could be your dream job.

You will bring:

• 5+ years of significant H&S experience in a senior role.
• A mix of office-based and field/site experience in Health & Safety.
• Expert working knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and amendments.
• Solid operational experience in policy development, investigations, audits, and reporting.

Your knack for achieving results through persuasive relationship-building sets you apart, ensuring successful collaboration and impactful outcomes from working with senior leadership to being onsite.
