The Successful candidate will play a key role in providing support to the activities of the Industrial Services division as appropriate on a day to day basis and to assist other areas of the business as and when required.

Reporting to the Industrial Services Manager, responsibilities in this varied role will include;

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

• Using Enva Van’s and HGV’s to travel to customers sites and at all times follow Enva Safety procedures
• Listing, Classifying, and Packing Waste, Including Hazardous Waste into appropriate drums and containers
• Carry out pumping, flushing, and rinsing of liquids into appropriate containers or use of vacuum tanker to carry out flushing and cleaning of vessels
• Carrying out Confined Space Works
• Driving and operation of company vehicles including HGVs for the carriage of dangerous substances.
• Operation of all equipment mechanical and electronic that may be deployed by the company in the course of its operations, as directed by your Supervisor or other management
• Additional services developed or offered by the company

All Training can be provided to candidates with the right attitude. For the right candidate, Enva will support employees attain their C Class Licence upon successful completion of your probationary period.

The following would offer a distinct advantage:

• Primary technical qualification in science or relevant area
• DGSA qualification or experience handling hazardous waste
• Experience handling chemicals
• Full driving license for classes B, C1, C, EB, EC1 and EC, a Certificate for drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous goods for all classes (except those relating to 1 and 7) and a forklift (reach truck) certificate.

This position can be based either out of Portlaoise or Rathcoole.
