ACCOUNTING CLERK

Objectives and Daily Responsibilities:

· Performing routine accounting duties within a fast-paced accounting department.

· Daily calls to customers to get correct information to get an invoice to them promptly.

· Daily calls to customers with past due invoices.

· Inputting payables into our QuickBooks accounting system.

· Matching payable to our invoices in order to scan into the QuickBooks system.

· Updating several daily sales spreadsheets.

· Creating accurate aging reports to bring to the President of the Company twice weekly.

· Adding accounting information into our CRM program, SalesForce.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· At least 4 years of Accounting experience and 4 years of Quickbook Pro or Quickbook Enterprise experience.

· Have worked in an office environment requiring all accounting functions.

· Proficiency in all phases of accounting, including invoicing, receivables, payables and collections.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail

· Proficient in Microsoft Office with aptitude to learn new systems

· Typing at 40 wpm or more. YOU WILL TAKE A TYPING TEST AT INTERVIEW.

· Natural proficiency with math.

· Be able to pass a drug screening, background check and E-Verify

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Starting Rate: $24.00 per hour depending upon experience.
