Junior Software Engineer (ASP.Net) (Beverly Hills, CA)

Overview
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Developer (ASP.NET) to join their team. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working at an ASP.NET Developer (backend) knowledge and/or is able to read floor-plans for manual acquisition of geospatial information in on-site settings. The candidate has to be comfortable with working in our clients office location in Beverly Hills, California.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.
Qualifications:
A backend developer specializing in .NET Core:
Development Expertise**: Proficiency in .NET Core framework for building, maintaining, and designing backend systems. Familiarity with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and .NET Core CLI is essential.
Database Management**: Experience in database design, development, and management using SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational databases. Understanding of Entity Framework or other ORM tools.
API Development**: Skill in creating and managing RESTful APIs for application-to-application communication. Knowledge of API security best practices.
Performance Optimization**: Ability to optimize application performance and scalability. Experience in diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Code Quality**: Commitment to writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Testing**: Experience in implementing unit tests and integration tests to ensure the quality and functionality of the application.
Collaboration**: Work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and alignment of backend functionality with front-end design.
Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
Continuous Learning**: Willingness to stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in .NET Core and related technologies.
Security Awareness**: Knowledge of security best practices, including understanding of common vulnerabilities and threats in web applications.
