Job Description

The purpose of this job is to deliver sales and revenue targets by managing the organization’s business development activities ensuring consistent and rapid growth in sales across all business service lines for the Environment Testing business units in Ireland.

Has oversight for the day-to-day management of the Environment Testing Sales Team

Sets challenging but achievable annual targets and devises incentives to drive sales performance within the team.

Determines the annual sales budget for each Business Unit (with MD); establishes pricing strategies and selling prices.

Responsible for the identification and winning of laboratory services business within the environment testing scope to achieve growth objectives within the Irish market.

Responsible for account development planning involving the analysis of clients’ organisation and activities to assess the potential requirements that the clients may have for Eurofins Environment Testing Services

Lead large tender processes for private and government accounts ensuring visibility of all major opportunities within the Irish market segment.

• Acts as a key contact for large customer accounts.
• Responsible for Sales Reports – provision of account sales and revenue, activity and market status reports as required on a local or global basis as appropriate – and compliance with CRM reporting requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years’ experience at senior management level in a Sales role ideally within the laboratory industry

Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.

Proven track record of wining profitable business and managing high level customer accounts.

Proven management skills in leading and motivating a sales team.

Excellent communicator both written and verbal.

Extensive knowledge of customer organisations, development and commercial supply chain activities.

Highly organised, accurate and strong documentation skills.

Proficient in all Microsoft Packages.

Willingness to travel and hold a full clean driving licence
