The purpose of this role is to process customer samples while maintaining consistent customer service, efficiency, quality and accuracy standards as required by the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for accurately logging samples into the FGS system in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the taking in of customer samples, sorting and labelling them while ensuring that the correct information is recorded onto the FGS system for samples that are to be analysed.
• Responsible for sub-contracting samples as required, sorting, labelling, tracking of samples and results.
• Responsible for supporting the sales and customer services team in administration and planning.
• This person must be constantly aware of the customer’s requirements and should strive to meet those requirements.
• Responsible for handling any customer related queries where necessary and liaising with their team to problem solve these queries if needed.
• Responsible for making any necessary changes to the FGS system.
• Responsible for communicating regularly with the Laboratory Manager /Laboratory Supervisor/Team Lead of the status of work and for escalating any issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure Compliance to the ISO 17025 standard at all times by adhering to the in house quality procedures provided.
• Complete all documentation including training sheets on time, accurately and legibly.
• Undertaking general administration duties including photocopying, typing, filing etc. as required.
• Adhere to all company standards in the area of safety, housekeeping and quality, notifying the Section Leader / Laboratory Manager of any discrepancies.
• Keep the working area clean and tidy.
• Identify continual improvement in the customer’s overall experience with Eurofins by liaising with internal departments within Eurofins to ensure we meet our clients demands in a cost effective manner.
• Communicating any technical queries to the Team Lead / Laboratory Supervisor/ Laboratory Manager.
• Responsible for facilitating training of other staff when required.
• Provide cover for other members of staff as required.

• A certificate in a related discipline or administrative qualification is preferable
