Job Description

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join our Auckland Chromatography Department in a permanent full-time role, working Sunday to Thursday.

Key accountabilities include:-

• Perform independent or specialist analytical work;
• Be proficient in using these instruments – HPLC/GC/IC/LCMS;
• Have at least 2 years experience working in a laboratory using the above mentioned instrument and able to trouble shoot as needed
• Ensure external and internal clients’ requirements are met / exceeded;
• Ensure efficient utilisation of laboratory materials;
• Have a vast knowledge of ISO 17025 standard;
• Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures;
• Comply with quality management system policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience are preferred.

Experience

• Experience in appropriate technical disciplines and quality management systems is mandatory.
• Has previously been a KTP in a chemistry discipline, preferable.
