• Receive and review new business inquiries from prospective clients provided through web forms; email and telephone.
• Record inquiry and prospective client information in pertinent systems
• Follow up on assigned leads by email and phone including determination of service needs and provision of quotations
• Forward applicable leads to program sales for follow-up and resolution
• Work with operations on coordination of news sales and revision of existing sales
• Follow Eurofins policies and procedures
• Promote customer service and provide account management to existing accounts as assigned
• Report on KPI’s as they relate to open and closed sales, leads contacted, and new sales won
• Support marketing initiatives with sales and marketing team and follow-up on identified opportunities
• Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
• Make cold calls, as necessary

Qualifications

• BS degree in food related or business/sales discipline
• Strong interpersonal skills that allow for moving comfortably in a business environment and to interface with all levels of customer and staff
• Detail oriented with documentation
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Works well under pressure and handles adverse situations
• Problem solving ability
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information
Position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Des Moines, IA are encourage to apply.
