Core Responsibility:

The Production Associate is responsible for performing all activities associated to the company’s high-throughput gene synthesis process.

Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Culture of transformed cells
• Purification of DNA
• Setup of enzymatic reactions
• Management of process data within the company’s proprietary bioinformatics servers
• General lab support work (media preparation, gel preparation, labeling, cleanup)

• The ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses outstanding organizational skills, and the demonstrated ability to perform as an effective team member.
• He/she will have background in molecular biology with hands-on knowledge of the uses and properties of DNA and enzymes, PCR and thermocyclers, gel electrophoresis, and photo documentation.
• Biology/microbiology training and some lab experiences are a plus.
• Good computer skills, precise attention to detail, record keeping, and adherence to protocols is required.
