The Company

Evercam is an Irish company that is changing the way construction sites are managed around the world by using cutting edge cctv/video hardware and proprietary software to deliver information about project progress, on-site incidents, works verification, materials delivery and Health and Safety.

Our goal is to be the leading reality capture platform (video, images & data) for the construction industry. Today we deliver services globally, across 24 time zones including in Ireland, USA, Australia and Singapore.

What’s special about this role?

In addition to running the largest Ops team in the company, the Operations Director (Ireland) will be working directly with the CEO and the wider Product team to develop and test the next generation of Evercam products and services that will be deployed globally.

This is an Onsite role.

How will success be measured?

• The Irish Operations team will be viewed by our customers and our install partners as the centre of operational excellence and product innovation.
• The Operations Director (Ireland) will be viewed as a leader by the Ops and Sales teams, while also building strong relationships with the wider management team, especially with the CEO and COO.
• There is a reduction in the costs associated with running the Ireland operations department by controlling overheads, reducing Free of Charge time and increasing revenue from Service activities.
• Projects are delivered within agreed costs and time parameters, while Support and Service calls are answered within agreed SLAs for the region.
• They will have contributed to increased efficiency and integration between different departments, especially Sales, Product and Finance.

What will the role involve?

• Oversee the management of a team of Installation Engineers, including recruitment, training and performance management
• Oversee scheduling of installations, maintenance visits and decommissions
• Work with the Global Head of Operations, and the other Operation Directors to develop initiatives and drive efficiencies throughout the business.
• Become an in-house expert in the Evercam product as well as the associated hardware and software required to deliver the Evercam solution.
• Representing Evercam at key customer meetings, in support of a Sales Strategy or to resolve a customer service issue.
• Assist in the documentation and curation of material associated with Evercam’s standard and emergency operating procedures.
• Spearhead the coordination and testing of new hardware related initiatives.
• Manage company fleet in Ireland

Requirements:

Essential

• Record of overseeing the planning, scheduling and smooth delivery of multiple projects, including the allocation of resources.
• Experience of recruiting, mentoring and performance managing a team
• Proven ability to deliver process and service improvement in a fast paced environment.
• Effective financial planning, budget and cost management
• Ability to build relationships with enterprise customers, especially at a senior level
• Full Valid Drivers Licence + Valid Work Visa

Desirable

• Previous experience in either a software or construction related company
• Previous experience with CCTV hardware and software
