• THE POSITION: Exapta is currently seeking a bookkeeper AR/AP associate for 20-30 hours per week. The primary functions include daily, weekly, monthly and yearly record-keeping, and working with Quickbooks, O365 and other software programs. This position is responsible for daily/monthly AP and AR processes. This position will require time at our headquarters. Depending on skillset, we are open to making this a full time position by including administrative duties such as: data entry, creating and maintaining filing systems, conducting data entry.

QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must have excellent organizational skills and ability to solve problems; will have integrity and honesty; and will be extremely conscientious of details and timeliness. The candidate will have good ‘people skills’ including the ability to collaborate with our sales and warehouse staff, vendors, and customers. The candidate will be energetic, able to work independently and without close supervision (i.e., a self-starter), and enthusiastic for the job at hand. We want someone who is proud of doing an important job and doing it well. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Solid computer skills needed (proficiency with Quickbooks, Office 365 required). • Associates or Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or three or more years equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge/awareness of general accounting principles and practices.
• Work closely with owner and Departmental Managers to resolve discrepancies in timely manner.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality in all financial matters
• Must have experience with Quickbooks, Office 365
• Requires sitting for long periods of time and working in an office environment.
• Must be meticulous, detail-oriented and possess good organizational skills
• Must be self-directed and deadline-focused

COMPENSATION: Competitive base salary depending on experience; paid vacation; profit sharing; 401k for full-time employees.
