Excelitas Technologies Hiring for Toolroom Machinist Job at Singapore , Singapore Full Time

• Operate Tool Room Machine (Conventional Precision Machine) per production schedule and ensure all blueprint requirements are met.
• Perform simple troubleshooting.
• Ensure good documentation, fill up all necessary documentation for job travelling and traceability.
• Maintain on the shopfloor 6S housekeeping and discipline at all times. Comply with the safety regulations.
• Report to Section Leader for machine breakdown/problem.
• Ensure daily targets and outputs are met.
• Coordinate and work closely with Engineer on the new jig and fixture fabrication.
• Read and follow relevant Work Instructions (WIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support new methods and concepts for improvement programs.
• Highlight issues to Section Leader and seek help to solve the issues on daily basis

Pre-requisites:

• GCE ‘N’ Level or Technical Certificate
• Minimum of three (3) years of preferably Metal Machining experience
• Able to read and write English
• Able to interpret Technical Drawing with Geometrical Tolerances
• Clear understanding of good documentation practices and quality system regulations and requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills
• Using of measurement equipment; Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, Profile Projector etc.

Responsible for the set-up and operation of machine based on blue print and build according to the job loading information from Section Leader to ensure OTD and quality expectations are met.
