Exo Group, LLC Hiring for Wood Utility Pole Inspector at Oklahoma Full Time

Summary
Inspectors are responsible for inspecting utility poles, most often in rural settings, to confirm their structural integrity. This position is responsible for the inspection, treatment and restoration of wood utility poles as well as creating a GIS map of the customer’s system.

Candidates can live anywhere in North Dakota and the surrounding area. Qualified candidates must be willing to travel extensively throughout the region and be willing and able to work long hours, independently, with a high degree of integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Utilize a shovel to assess pole condition below ground, excavating further when necessary

· Move efficiently from pole to pole, frequently crossing fences, on UTV, on foot, or by other means

· Apply preservatives and protective coatings when necessary

· Visually inspect for damage above the ground line

· Attach required inspection information, take pictures and accurately log information into our data collection application

· Operate a company vehicle, where applicable

· Operate in a safe and efficient manner

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to travel away from home for short and extended periods of time
• Ability to work in uneven and rugged terrain
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Ability to log data into a handheld computer
• Familiarity with MS Office Product preferred
