FILE CLERK – ASCENSION PARISH – B525

Work hours 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay range: $13-15/hour

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for File Clerk position:

• Gathering and organizing files into their proper location
• Labeling and updating paper files
• Work closely with manager on confidential paperwork
• Other tasks may be needed.

The ideal candidate will possess these skills and/or experiences:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1+ years work experience in similar position.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Dependable with a respect to confidentiality and policies.
• Very keen attention to detail.
• Time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Stand / bending for long period of time.
• Able to lift (up to 20 pounds)
• Be reliable, dependable, able to work as scheduled with minimal to no absences and be able to pass a drug-screen.
