Responsibilities include:
In the context of an SAP Finance transformation:
Leading the creation of integrated programme plan for SAP implementation and managing the execution of the plan across multiple workstreams, suppliers and third parties
Managing programme risks, issues, priorities and dependencies in SAP Implementation
Senior stakeholder management and management of Client expectations
Managing of SAP requirements development including management of the Blueprint Business requirements, Requirements Traceability Matrix, Configuration and Functional requirements documents
Management of requirements decision making activities such as RICEFW challenge sessions
Managing the preparation for the SAP build phase including estimation, sprint planning, backlog grooming
Process Design, Configuration and Customizations Reviews, Data Conversion Appraisals, Testing Reviews; Stage Gate Closure Reviews
Overall management of the day-to-day activity in an SAP hybrid agile build phase
Managing the preparation and execution of Test activities through a full test cycle
Providing guidance and QA of all project phases
Provide advice and guidance on SAP solutions based on best practices
Provide point of views on SAP functionality, change management and other advisory services
Provide the teams with guidance on all project phases
Advising clients on current and future SAP needs, including S/4HANA business case, technical and business transformation, roadmap, and implementation
Responsible for overall accountability for a wide variety of tasks, including data modelling & architecture decisions, performance testing & system builds as well as staff mentoring.
Playing a key role in planning and managing client projects throughout all phases
Supporting the development of the FS practice, including leading internal team activities, and facilitating external client events
About You
A third level qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
SAP FICO certification, Project Management certification is desirable
A minimum of 8 years’ experience working in a banking client facing role for a leading consulting or professional services company in delivery of large-scale complex change/transformation programmes or systems integration programmes in SAP Finance implementations
Proven experience in banking or insurance industry system implementation and experience in all phases of at least 4 full-lifecycle SAP implementations
A solid understanding of core financial processes and the implementation of best practice solutions in the SAP Finance space for a global bank
Proven experience in implementing SAP finance processes such as new general ledger, finance general ledger processing, accruals, bank accounting, asset accounting, management accounting (CO), profitability analysis, cash management, credit management and budgeting / planning
Proven experience with financial and regulatory reporting processes such as group, statutory, management, SRB, IFRS
Experience with (or demonstrable understanding of) S/4HANA Finance, including the key benefits and implementation scenarios
Proven experience in leading IT change projects with a range of streams, partners and technologies (incl. IT infrastructure, IT Security, IT Operations, IT applications etc.) across the full delivery lifecycle
Strong ability to lead, mentor and motivate teams, adopting a collaborative and supportive approach
Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with senior-level clients
As this role may require international travel at times, proof of EEA work rights will be required at interview stage
Proven success in delivery of large and complex SAP programmes
Demonstrated leadership skills
