The opportunity
This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to spread your wings and develop your skill set to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the digital landscape.
You will work on a team developing, testing, deploying and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
Your key responsibilities
You will focus on the design, customization and optimization of Digital and Cloud-based solutions. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and solutions that will bring our clients’ digital vision and strategy to life.
Skills and attributes for success:
Actively participate in the design of software components. Use experience to help translate requirements into technical design and tasks
Developing long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally
Interacting and communicating effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives
Assist with providing estimates on assigned tasks
Independently implement low-code / pro-code that is simple, reliable, and scalable
Analyze and fix moderate to complex problems during development and support. Document and communicate results appropriately
Be available to review and respond solutions submitted by team members
Participate in white-boarding sessions and impact analysis and explore methods and tools to improve the overall development process
Assist with providing estimates on assigned tasks
Learn new client information quickly, and translate data modeling, process modeling, and revision control systems
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills
Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior advisory experience relevant to industry-specific business and technology functions
Self-starting capabilities to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
To qualify for the role you must have:
2 years of proven work experience with Microsoft Power Apps (preferably Canvas Apps)
3-5 years of experience with C# (.NET Core / .NET Framework) for backend development
Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and XrmToolBox, or equivalent
2-3 years of Power Automate, approvals, business process flows, custom connectors and API integration
2-3 years’ experience with Azure DevOps (primarily build / release pipelines)
Experience with Git, source control and branching strategies
Experience with JavaScript (mainly for Model Driven Apps)
Experience with Liquid templates for PowerApps Portals
Experience with Microsoft Azure, including identity and access management and enterprise apps.
It’s preferred if you have experience with:
Power Apps Component Framework
Typescript
Dynamics 365 Ecosystem
Microsoft Power Platform Developer Certification (PL-400).
