Duties:

The Software Development Engineer at Commerce Fabric, Inc. in Seattle, WA will partner with Product, Engineering and Design teams to deliver new features and enhancements for Fabric’s new eCommerce platform.

• Provide eCommerce and related technology expertise to design, develop, and support on-line, customer facing, eCommerce products.
• Design and develop high performance scalable data centric serverless microservices.
• Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional impact.
• Own continuous improvement and fine tuning of API performance, scalability and security.
• Independently design, code, and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a directly related field, plus 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience must include 6 years of experience with each of the following:
• backend development using Java, JavaScript, or NodeJS;
• backend development using JSON, REST, Micro services, and NoSQL;
• developing large-scale, consumer-facing micro-services solutions;
• defining and implementing software development methodologies; and
• communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

This position is 100% remote. Salary: $168,725 – $203,375 per year.
