Summary:
As Facebook infrastructure grows its scope and scale, our partner’s Manufacturing footprint expands. This requires more organization and integration of activities across multiple manufacturing sites and internal teams. Facebook is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Operations Program Manager, to drive Projects surrounding Process & Tools Change with our manufacturing partners.This Manufacturing Operations Program Manager will work closely with our Quality engineering, Test engineering, Hardware product engineers and Manufacturing engineers to enable Facebook’s data center hardware products to scale to demand. Focused on Projects related to manufacturing process & tooling improvements through process efficiency programs & automation efforts. As a Manufacturing Operations Program Manager, you will be the cornerstone of communication with cross-functional teams at Facebook interested in the Rack Integration suppliers support of new Hardware products, processes and tools to manage quality of such.
Required Skills:
Responsible for turning the individual requests, projects, ramps, and changes across multiple manufacturing partner sites into a program aligning the many Facebook team asks to one ongoing site roadmap of process and tool changes.
Drive an overall project plan, action trackers, and roadmap for manufacturing sites.
Responsible for security requirements/drivers of new process and tools.
Own data and analytics requirements.
Identify operational pain points and opportunities to improve business practices and drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
Drive continual improvement of systems and data workflows, dependency mapping, overall process and phase exit criteria and validation.
Responsible for quality alerts, manufacturing risk mitigation, manufacturing test requirements, and onboarding new manufacturing site bring-ups.
Conduct business process re-engineering reviews to innovate on business processes and define ways to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with computer hardware manufacturing supply chain execution, hardware lifecycle, manufacturing test processes, and PLM processes and tools. Knowledge of shop floor control/manufacturing execution tools and processes.
Experience identifying problem statements and structuring into a program with clear and measurable goals and milestones.
Experience developing and maintaining a comprehensive project plan, scope and budget. Experience executing against strategy and managing through obstacles and ambiguity.
Stakeholder Influence and Strategy: Experience establishing partnerships with stakeholders to define and drive roadmaps and direction.
Experience creating and following a structured communication strategy to keep stakeholders and customers informed.
Knowledge of Hardware Product lifecycle – Proof of Concept, Design Validation, Engineering Validation, Process/Product Validation, Pilots and Mass Production execution to End-Of-Life.
Understanding of Supply Chain, Manufacturing and/or Data Center Business Models & Experience with Computer Manufacturers, ODM, JDM, OEM.
Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturing capacity management process experience.
Knowledge in interfacing systems to manufacturing tools and process.
Knowledge in manufacturing process and traceability processes.
Knowledge in disaster and recovery best practices in manufacturing.
