Summary:
The same properties that make the Facebook platform an ideal place for marketing also make the platform an ideal place to conduct measurement. The Marketing Analytics Manager is charged with leveraging these capabilities on behalf of Global Business Marketing to measure and optimize marketing investments. We are seeking experienced leader who can partner effectively with the business leadership on driving the measurement practice supporting the GBM.You will work cross-functionally with several teams at Facebook (including marketing, operations, software engineering, and data engineering), with the objective of driving Global Business Marketing’s effective, analytically driven, and strategic growth and innovation. In this people management role you will require a combination of exceptional analytical skills, a background in data-driven decision-making, and strong partner and communication skills and the ability to continuously inspire and develop a team of individual contributors across multiple locations. Ideally you are passionate about Facebook and its products and mission, view the world through an analytical lens, are intellectually curious, learn quickly, and able to move fast while maintaining focus on high-impact projects.
Required Skills:
Hire, lead, and develop team of individual contributors across multiple locations
Define goals, success & identify key KPIs for the Global Business Marketing team
Oversee development and execution of measurement methodologies, products, and approaches in support of the GBM “learning agenda”
Design research & analytics initiatives helping the GBM understand the contribution of the marketing vehicles on revenue and other key growth metrics
Drive consistency in execution to maintain and improve reporting and analytical quality
Effectively communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways to leaders across the globe
Help drive continuous process improvement of core projects through automation and workflow enhancement
Project manage improvements to drive higher efficiencies in day-to-day operations using a data-driven approach
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in Engineering, Statistics/Math, Economics or related field
8+ years of work experience in consulting, measurement technology, research or analytics
4+ years of experience in managing people and building client engagement models
Experience problem solving and providing business insights and recommendations from data
Experience in presenting technical content across different stakeholder audiences and influencing decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or graduate degree in a quantitative field
Experience with multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
Experience with Brand and Direct Response measurement solutions such as Brand Lift, Conversion Lift, Multi-Touch Attribution etc.
Experience working with tools such as SQL, Hive, SPSS, SAS, R, MATLAB, Tableau
Experience operating within globally distributed teams
Experience-based aptitude using data and numbers to formulate insights
