Fallon & Byrne wishes to recruit Baristas / Deli Assistants for our coffee bar in our food hall on Exchequer Street in the heart of Dublin city. Working as a part of a lively team, our Barista / Deli Assistants will need to be a food and coffee lover and enjoy working in a busy atmosphere.

We are passionate about exceeding our customer’s expectations and our Baristas / Deli Assistants are extremely customer-focused and passionate about delivering a superior experience.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and providing excellence in customer service at all times.
• Food preparation and display, ensuring safe food handling and full HACCP compliance.
• Day to day cleaning and maintenance of the deli.
• Assist customers with queries regarding deli products.
• Using a manual coffee machine and dialling in grinders.
• Stock rotation and replenishment.

The Person

• Previous experience in a busy café environment with barista and deli experience.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, professional and approachable with a passion for customer-service.
• Warm, vibrant, enthusiastic and welcoming, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for customer
• Ability to be organised and work under pressure.
• Ability to steam milk to achieve to required micro-foam texture and to pour basic latte art patterns (desirable but not required).
• A passion for good food and coffee.
• Flexibility. Your hours and station of work may vary in accordance with the needs of the business.
