Farmlands Looking for Storeperson / Delivery Driver at Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui Full Time

Our Farmlands Palmerston North team are looking for a new Storeperson/Delivery Driver to join them on a permanent full-time basis.

About the Role

This role will require you to work in our bulk store area, managing the pallets, stock counting, moving of goods and great customer service in the bulk store area and loading product for customers. Customer interaction will also be required in our retail environment. You may be required to work some Saturdays, but your core hours will be Monday – Friday.

About You

You’ll be somebody who values and positively contributes to a great team environment, focused on providing excellence in customer service and 100% committed to building strong relationships with our shareholders, customers and your colleagues.

You will also bring:

• Previous stores-based experience and/or retail experience
• Rural background/knowledge preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Sound computer skills able to learn new systems with confidence (namely our ‘Point of Sale/POS’ system)
• Physical fitness and be comfortable working on your feet all day and lifting and carrying stock
• Clean full driver licence, Class 2 & forklift licence (preferred, however full training provided)
