We are seeking applicants for PM Packers & Bread Slicers. (Also looking cross train employees if looking to grow their baking and pastry techniques).

Farmshop currently seeks an Pastry & Bread Packers to join our Wholesale Commissary team in our Culver City location. Some of the requirements for the position include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain a work place that is clean and organized and is cohesive with the restaurant’s philosophy, and standards of excellence.
• Dusting, Sweeping, Using any machines necessary to accomplish these tasks such as but not limited to, Washing Machines, Mops, Brooms, Vacuums, Dusters, Ladders, Extenion poles etc.
• Kitchen/Bakery/Production Experience Preferred
• Packing and organizing pastry into boxes for delivery.
• Organized, can read English and work with a sense of urgency.
• A team player exercises fairness and exemplary sportsmanship.
• Maintain of facility cleanliness
• Maintain a hygienic and safe environment at all times.
• Slicing bread and packaging bread loaves. (Will train to use slicer)
• Follow bi-weekly Bakery production schedule and requests.
• Clock in, out and breaks.
• Maintain storage of bakery ingredients and all to-go and packaging goods.
• Completely understand all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
• Operate within the property on a daily basis with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy and initiative.
• Understand philosophy of Farmshop. Consistent attention to detail and follow through of all Farmshop policies.
• Represent the bakery professionally, even when not on the premises.
• ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS
• Be able to understand and communicate in English.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours a day).
• Effective oral communication skills and the ability to work as a team player.
• Must be impeccably groomed, maintain good hygiene, good posture and have required uniform.
• Must display the ethical and professional standards set forth by Farmshop.
• Must have the stamina to work up to 40 hours per week.

Job Type: Full Time or Part Time

Salary: $16.50 to $17.50 /hour
