FedEx Ground Hiring for We need FedEx P&D driver helpers, NO BACKGROUND OR DRUG TEST REQUIRED at Centennial, CO Full Time

FedEx contractor in Denver area needs driver helpers to assist the P&D drivers with loading the trucks in the morning, and running various errands for the company.

– This is a part time seasonal position, 3-5 hours per day. This opportunity is a great 2nd job option for those wanting some extra holiday cash!

The basic job function is to have these helpers come in early to pre-sort packages for multiple delivery routes. We run several routes each day that are not loaded by FedEx and require drivers to load each truck. The Helper would sort all packages and load into the truck based on the delivery sequence built by each driver. It’s only a few hours a day with lots of lifting. Average package is 20lbs, so plenty of envelopes and a few items that could be 50-100 pounds.

This is a seasonal position, but we would consider keeping someone after the holidays.

Time permitting and work availability we could also have these helpers run errands like shuttling trucks to/from shops, auto parts store to pick up supplies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Assist P&D Drivers loading trucks
• Work with driver to route day and sequence packages
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, up to 100lbs with support
• Part time hours from 7-11 am
• Communication and teamwork are critical job skills

Pay: $20.00 per hour
