Overall Job Objective:
Responsible for developing and enhancing the overarching reporting and analytics strategy for the email marketing program to demonstrate business impact, provide useful insights and lead campaigns and channel health.
Please Note: This position is 100% remote. The associate could at times need to be available for east coast hours (EST) for required meetings and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Working with team leadership, develops and implements short and long-term email marketing reporting an analytics strategy.
Identify and initiate the building of supporting infrastructure to deliver partner facing dashboards, reports and presentations and supervise marketing critical metrics and program health
Identify, collect and transform data from multiple systems and sources to create a narrative of email marketing impact and customer behavior
Create, handle and maintain key program critical metric reports and dashboards
Assist in data management initiatives and proactively recommend segment optimization or data enhancements to meet goals and objectives
Actively supervise deliverability and enforcement (SPF, DMARC, DKIM) of emails across multiple platforms
Contributes to the development, implementation, and reporting of email campaign performance and overall effectiveness.
Oversees all standard operating processes and procedures related to email marketing and marketing automation.
Collaborate with multiple channel managers to understand and optimize marketing performance across all business verticals and segments
Analyzes email campaign results and reports campaign performance, summarizes key insights, and offers recommendations. Works with analytics team to understand business and customer needs and site analytics required to measure email success.
Analyzes and supports A/B testing strategy, making recommendations on improving email performance to include the following core metrics: open rate, click-through-rate, engagement, and products sales.
Acts as an authority for reporting and analytics platforms – understanding capabilities, expectations and strategies for applicable 3rd party software (i.e., DOMO, PowerBI, Eloqua, Responsys, LiveClicker, Litmus, etc.) and routinely provides recommendations for team/org usage
Qualifications:
2+ years experience as a Business/Marketing Analyst within an agency or large corporate setting with multiple platforms, clients, etc.
Proficiency in email marketing and marketing automation tools (Eloqua, Responsys, Litmus preferred)
2+ years or proven proficiency building complex data transformation and visualizations using data visualization tools (PowerBI, DOMO, etc.)
Proven understanding of SQL, R or Python and/or complex ETL
Proficiency in web analytics platforms such as GA360, Adobe analytics or similar tools
Ability to communicate highly technical and complex concepts to non-technical partners
Ability to analyze and interpret large sets of data to provide useful recommendations.
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and departments to identify and deliver impactful analysis and insights
General understanding of email deliverability best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
Results-oriented, strong attention to detail with ability to run multiple projects in parallel.
