We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor who is able to lead by example, promote a good working relationship within the department. You will be responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the Housekeeping Department ensuring the highest possible standards of service are maintained at all times. • Responsible of coordinating and organizing the housekeeping operation of the hotel
• Ensure all housekeeping staff understand the standard operating procedures, grooming and professionalism required of them.
• Coordinate closely with all departments especially Front Office and maintenance through good communication and working relationships.
• A high level of organizational standards and effective time management, ensuring all commitments are delivered on time.
• Identify staff training needs organize and provide trainings to improve efficiency and effectiveness.  
• Ensure the housekeeping team operate in a safe and healthy manner and in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health requirements.
• Maintain quality and timeliness of services offered. 
• Roster staff and allocate duties of room attendants daily.
• Ordering of supplies & Linen
• Assist to maintain the hotel public areas 

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail
• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays across a 7 days rotating roster
• Previous experience  as a housekeeping supervisor is essential
• Must be physically fit and energetic person
• Strong work ethic and positive culture
• Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
• To be responsible for maintaining and preserving the quality products, furnishings and collateral within the hotel
• Good numeracy
• Hospitality related qualification is preferred  
• First Aid
