Position Title: Business Analyst Department: Community Banking Group Position Reports to: Senior Business Analyst Position Supervises: No Direct Reports.
Position Summary:
Performs various data analytic assignments to assist and support the Senior Business Analyst in the Community Banking Group with overall business operations. Performs additional assignments related to consumer and business products and pricing, enterprise marketing, wealth management and treasury management business lines. Analyst will take a balanced approach to analyzing data, performance trends, loan and deposit portfolio growth trends and sales velocity for the lines of business and Community Bank markets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support management and reporting of the Community Banking Group incentive plans; assist in the quarterly calculation and payout file preparations.
· Contribute to the development of reporting tools that enable business leaders to quickly identify and respond to changing market conditions and customer behavior trends.
· Prepare analysis of loan and deposit portfolio growth trends by business lines, markets and segments for management.
· Assist in the preparation of the bank’s deposit pricing committee materials.
· Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting to Community Banking Group.
· Partner with Marketing, Finance and Business intelligence teams to develop reporting and analytics for business line and market performance.
· Determine and compile key performance indicators and provide variance to goal analysis for results, including strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects.
· Assist with special projects within Community Banking Group
· Other related duties as assigned.
Education, Certification, License and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Finance, Administration or related field with minimum of one year related administrative experience/training supporting multiple concurrent projects, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
· Have the ability to plan, organize, and structure work.
· Highly skilled in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Suite products.
· Showcase good analytical and evaluative skills in tasks.
· Showcase good written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to multitask.
· Responsible for knowing and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies that include but are not limited to Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering rules, Right to Financial Privacy, Fair Lending, Community Reinvestment Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and other laws and regulations as they pertain to the position.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements .

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hear, stand or sit for long periods of time, open filing cabinets, walk, stoop or bend, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and complete tasks requiring manual dexterity. Ability to drive a vehicle for travel is required for the position.
