Position: Shop Labourer

Position Type: Full time

Location: Fort St John, BC

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday

Hours of work: 8:00 am- 4:30 pm

You have a mechanical aptitude and sights on becoming a Mechanic! You bring a desire to learn and grow into an apprenticeship role. If you have an attitude that’s second to none, we want you to be a part of our team.

A Typical Day for the Shop Labourer:

• Upkeep of shop tooling, shop equipment, and general maintenance
• General building repairs
• Daily shop clean up
• Assist Mechanics with repairs as required
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly shine maps

What You Bring:

• Desire to have a career as a Mechanic
• Strong willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies
• Proven ability of maintaining a clean and organized workplace
• Self-starter and able to work independently
• Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting and using hand tools
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• High School Diploma
• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License is an asset
