Job Responsibilities: Authorization Specialist (REMOTE + CONTRACT ROLE)

This client is a trusted leader in providing a full range of clinical care and support services at home for children and adults of all ages.

• Sole responsibility is Authorization management (obtaining pre-certification or continuous authorization) for managed care payors (such as Aetna, Humana, IBC, Highmark, etc) to ensure that we know what services are authorized and ensure payment.

Requirements: 1 year plus of:

1. Have experience submitting, receiving, and managing authorization requests

2. Experience with Pennsylvania payors (IBC, Highmark, Humana, Aetna, MyNexus)

3. Experience with Homecare Homebase practice management system

4. Clinical training is a plus but not required (Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Nurse)

5. Software-Homecare Homebase (HCHB) is a MUST.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
