A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Fitter (Night Shift) to join a market leading, fast-paced manufacturing company at their fully automated site in Hunua.
Reporting to the Site Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for all mechanical maintenance and repair of equipment across all areas of the plant. You will liaise with production personnel and assist with continuous improvement activities.
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment as an engineer

Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role
- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are complied with in accordance with the company requirements
- Understanding of pneumatic & hydraulic systems
- Mechanical fault finding on all machinery
- Mechanical repair to machines, conveyors and other plant
- Knowledge and experience of Fabrication work i.e. welding, gas cutting, grinding
- Ensure all plant and equipment is operationally safe and complies with the relevant legislation
