About the role:

FIS Payments is looking for a new member for our graduate program. This 2-year program is designed to provide you with a supportive learning environment as you progress into a challenging career in software engineering. This will see you work in different areas across software development, DevOps and Automated testing and give you an opportunity to work in an agile team alongside designers, developers, and QA staff.

Upon completion of the program you will move into a role of Junior Software Engineer.

What you will be doing in the role:

• Work with Java programming language and associated technology in server-side software development
• Analyse, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
• Improvement, and maintenance of a state of a build validation pipeline: Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery
• Participating in the building and documenting of infrastructure and services for software delivery
• Creating and maintaining automated test scripts

You may be a graduate or have minimal commercial experience.
