What does a great Quality Inspection Associate do?
As a Fiserv Inspection Associate, we will train you to complete inspection tasks in an efficient and timely manner to assure required production specifications and quality. You will be responsible for the inspection of printed materials for conformance to the job specifications and recording inspection results in the quality tracking system. 2nd Shift Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 2:30PM-11:00PM
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour and up (varies based on shift and experience)
As an Quality Inspection Associate, you can look forward to:
Receiving on the job paid training and work in a climate controlled environment
Performing in-process and final visual, dimensional, and technical inspections
Inspecting job data from the insertion equipment systems to ensure every mail set is produced and accounted for
Evaluating reasons for defects; marking and sorting rework and/or scrap and preparing non-conformance reports
Using PC to perform data entry and process work-related transactions
Utilizing and/or operating material moving equipment, carts, etc. and using some inspection tools including hand tools and precision devices
Responding to equipment troubleshooting to resolve machine and job related problems
Working with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Basic qualifications for Consideration:
12+ Months Quality assurance and/or fast paced inspection and production related experience
Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)
Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 30 pounds
Be able, as it is necessary, to climb, stretch, crouch or kneel
Strong mechanical aptitude and time management
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Use of basic math skills
A team player that works well with others but can also work independently
