Fitzers Catering POWERED BY Levy are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Hospitality Supervisor within the Hospitality Department of the Curragh
Racecourse. This role will also support other racecourses that the company operate within.

The Curragh Racecourse is an iconic venue on the historic Curragh plain. Conveniently located adjacent to the M7, Curragh Racecourse will be open all year round for meetings and events in a spectacular setting overlooking the world-famous Curragh training grounds.

Hours of work are 40 hours per week, over 5 days. Days of work include weekends when events are taking place.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous supervisory experience essential minimum 3 years

• Good Knowledge of Food & Service Delivery

• Good Knowledge of Beverage & Wines

• Good Knowledge of Conferencessetup

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Business acumen – commercial experience – closing of tills / resolving any discrepancies

• Own transport, full clean driving license

• Admin – Microsoft experience (word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook)

Primary Objective:

• Daily hands on operational role which includes setup/execution of service

• Supervise events on the racecourse on all race and non-race day

• Directing the team in functions and service

• Motivating the staff to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality.

• General operating procedures for the events departments; directing the operational work of team leaders & setup teams when needed

• Adhere to and assist with driving the Health & Safety and Sustainability aspects of the venue

• Assist in preparing event paperwork for all race days

• Assist implement service strategies to elevate service

• Undertakes special projects as requested by the Senior Operations Manager

Salary: €32,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
