About the Role

The Test Engineer’s role is to manage integration testing and validation activities for a large web-based application. The Test Engineer will work closely with members of the Fivecast engineering team including software architects, software engineers, business analysts, data scientists and technical Engineers.

The Test Engineer will be responsible for conducting both formal and informal end to end system integration testing, system validation and defect investigation. As well as develop System level test cases in accordance with the system requirements with the focus on end user needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree level qualifications in systems or software engineering;
• Understanding of formal QA and testing regimes an standards;
• Experience in large project delivery teams in Quality Engineering/Test Engineering;
• API Testing experience;
• Demonstrated experience developing manual and automation scripts to accelerate testing using multiple tools such as Selenium;
• Demonstrated experience as a test engineer/test analyst/QA on large projects;
• Ability to program in scripting languages;
• Ability to write formal test reports; and
• Demonstrated experience in creation of rest datasets to support testing.
