We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team in a permanent role or you may prefer a fixed-term or contract agreement. Our team is focused on providing Finance excellence to the business and its customers. It is a critical part of supporting the delivery of financial services across Flintfox. This is an excellent opportunity to work with over 120+ tech-savvy Flintfoxers working within New Zealand and our overseas subsidiaries (UK, USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia).

About the role

• Own the accounts receivable function for Flintfox
• Perform a range of accounts receivable and revenue accounting services
• Focus on reporting, and process improvements across NZ and our global subsidiaries
• Reconciliation of Xero to internal systems and Power BI
• Revenue reporting for our global subsidiaries including weekly debtor reporting
• Revenue management and invoicing
• Revenue cashflow forecasting and budgeting
• Processing of all customer transactions
• Management and ownership of Microsoft reporting processes
• Regular review and updates of process documentation
• General accounting duties as required

What you will bring to the role

We are looking for a mature-driven Finance professional with 2-4+ years’ business experience in a Finance role. A sound knowledge of fundamental accounting, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Xero, and extensive reporting experience. You may also have Power BI experience.

You will have good commercial acumen, an eye for detail, a high level of accuracy, and a strong focus on delivering outcomes. Importantly, you have the knowledge and influencing skills to build credibility with stakeholders quickly and are a team player with a can-do attitude.
