About The Role

This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant customer service team in the International Freight Forwarding Industry, we are looking for the perfect candidate who has a genuine passion for customers and be able to find them the best solutions!

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Client Liaison
• Order placement to overseas origin offices
• Monitoring for booking updates – Air & Sea
• Providing order status updates to clients
• Updating rate cards and preparing quotations for clients
• Working closely with the overseas agents, shipping lines and co-loaders
• Being able to build relationships with clients, via written communication and in person
• Solve problems and provide solutions on your feet for your customers

What you will bring to the role:

• 2-3 years freight forwarding experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Cargowise software experience
• Microsoft office / computer literacy
• Excellent customer service and communications skills written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy data entry
• Resilience required

This is a fulltime permanent role based in Auckland. The shifts are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with normal work hours between 8am to 5pm.
