FLOOR360 has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Materials Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2-3 years previous experience as an Estimator, but at a minimum be organized, motivated, detail orientated and results driven. The Estimator will use a computer software program (Measure by RFMS) to determine all of the material and labor needed for residential and commercial projects. This position can be located at either Milwaukee or Madison location.

Duties

• Import construction documents into the measure software program.
• Create material and labor product information, including description, color, and size.
• Review construction documents and materials to bid.
• Flag potential inaccuracies or concerns.
• Read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, specs, addenda, and RFIs.
• Research plans and specifications to determine any special material requirements.
• Meet deadlines and prioritize projects to estimate with the management team.
• Committed to continuous improvement to achieve efficiencies

Requirements

• Must demonstrate attention to detail with high level of accuracy
• Must be a team player
• Ability to recognize and solve problems
• Strong communications skills
• Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
• Strong computer skills
• 2-3 years previous experience as a materials Estimator
• High School diploma
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
