Your Role:
This is a data heavy role, so if you are passionate on technology there are lot of opportunities to deepen your technical skills and make meaningful progress towards the Flybuys vision.
There is no typical working week at Flybuys and no two days are the same. But here are some of the things you might be working on, day-to-day;

• Development, release, and maintenance of software applications according to business needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain large scale data driven applications on AWS focusing on performance, scalability and stability.
• Collaborate with a team of software engineers, data engineers, and DevOps engineers.
• Follow and contribute towards engineering and design guidelines for developing highly scalable, available and fault tolerant systems.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

• Experience in full development life cycle of applications throughout analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Strong proven skills with data warehousing, SQL and Python
• Large Data warehousing tools like Snowflake or Redshift are very nice to have
• Experience working within an AWS ecosystem, with multiple programming languages (at least Python) and microservices.
• Good understanding on Version control tools; Git and Git workflows.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment).
• Exposure to DevOps environments is ideal, especially if you’ve worked with GitLab, Jenkins or similar
• Ability to work with Agile concepts and methodologies.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL Databases, specially worked on databases like Snowflake, DynamoDB, PostgresSQL, MSSQL.
