Foley’s Candies Looking for Food Prep at Delta, BC Full Time

We are looking for four individuals to join our production team as full time Food Prep/Operator at our Delta location. Training will encompass a “hands-on” approach working through all steps in the manufacturing of chocolate products. Proficiency in recipe preparation, production setups, specialty processing, and packaging machine operations, and quality requirements with the skill and artistry of a chocolatier will be the expectation for the right candidates.

Training and Duties will include:
performing product batching and mixing to formulas

operating chocolate processing, molding, and packaging equipment efficiently and safely

completion of documentation to meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements

equipment set up and configuration to support planned production to minor repairs

cleaning and sanitizing equipment and the facility

comply with and actively participate in maintaining HACCP and GFSI protocols.

adhere to and lead with Health and Safety policies and practices

routine machine adjustments, troubleshooting and emergency repairs

optimization of productivity, quality, and costs in the chocolate processing cycle

other tasks as assigned

ability to lift up to 50lbs. repetitively
